Flight Review (BFR)
Pilots must complete a Flight Review every 24 calendar months to legally act as Pilot in Command (PIC).
- Minimum 1 hour of ground instruction
- Estimated 1.5 hour of flight instruction
- Conducted with a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)

- Review of current FAA regulations
- Airspace and operating rules
- Aircraft systems and procedures
- Normal and emergency maneuvers
- Takeoffs, landings, and pattern work
- Risk management and decision making

Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC)
Instrument Currency Requirements
Within the previous 6 calendar months, pilots must complete:
- 6 instrument approaches
- Holding procedures
- Intercepting and tracking courses
If currency is not met: Pilots enter a 6-month grace period to regain currency with a safety pilot or instructor.
After 12 months without currency: An IPC with a certified instructor is required.

Recurrent Training for Pilots
If you haven't flown in a while, we can help you safely return to the cockpit. Training can be customized depending on how long you have been away from flying and your previous experience level.
